Yes. You can use Skype. You can validate your cell phone number with them. Then when you sms someone, your cell number will show up as the reply to number.

Yes, but you need software to do it. For example, if you have a Motorola phone such as a RAZR, they have a program called Motorola Phone Tools that you can buy on their site for like $29 that allows you to do this by communicating with the phone via either bluetooth or a USB connection. It also allows you to easily upload ringtones as MP3s, download your pictures, sync your contacts with Outlook, etc.

It's not coming from your phone, so it wont show up unless you type in your phone number in the "sender" box.

I'm sure this is different for all phone carriers or programs.
