1.how much does a text cost ?

2. if im going to get a plan for texting, what is the 4.99 plan ?
i looked at the site and i clicked on demo and it said unlimited texting for 4.99 then i looked at the plans and it said 200 texts. i got really confused. so which one is unlimited? which one is the best in your opinion?
if i got the plan, i would probably text maybe 10 times a day idk
so what plan would be good for me monthly?

without a text package, texts are 15 cents. the 4.99 plan is 200 messages. for an additional 4.99 you can get unlimited cingular-cingular texts on top of an existing text plan. if that's all the texting you will do, i would go with the 4.99 200 msg. plan. you can always change it if u see u need more.

I have AT&T as well, and the additional texts cost 10 cents each. The plan you were looking at was the $9.99 plan for Unlimited Mobile to Mobile texts, which means that you have unlimited texts between you and other AT&T/Cingular customers. If you want unlimited texts, picture messaging, etc., there is a plan for $19.99 which has all of that. Assuming that a lot of your friends and family have AT&T, I would suggest the $9.99 plan that you were looking at. You wouldn't use a lot of your 200 messages, because you would be texting other AT&T customers. So, you will plenty of extra messages to fall back on.
