Last night I accidently spilled beer all over my phone, its a flip phone verizon samsung with a screen on the front and those little white play rewind and forward buttons below the screen for the music player. Anyways, So all night I could make calls but my screen was blank white, eventually it went back to normal a few hours later. So everything is fine.
One problem, I turned it off, put the charger in, it says battery charging for about 30 seconds then it stops and says charging halted. What is the problem??

You may need a new sim card OR you might just have worn out your battery and need a new one..... (how old is your phone and or charger?)

Moisture probably got into the battery compartment. Try removing the battery, use Isopropyl alcohol and a Qtip to clean the area where the battery rests, plus the battery contacts. Use light amount of alcohol. If that does not fix it, try a trial run with a new battery, if that does not fix it, the phone is toast.

It has liquid damage. If you have insurance replace it.
