How much do you pay to have a cell phone unlocked for you that you buy off the internet? also... i have a phone that my friends two year old got ahold of,, enough said there, well... i DO have insurance on this phone, but i was wondering... if i got a new phone with that, does it extend your contract even though you didnt just up and buy a new one? Im NOT willing to do that... seing to how I live in a brick apartment building.. i get absolutely no service here, dropped calls and analog majority of the time...

i have a sprint cell phone but dont like it and i have a CONTRACT so dont tell me to get rid of sprint because i cant, walmart.com says they have unlocked cell phones and i dont know what that means , does that mean that if you get one you can use it for any carrier without getting into trouble ? HELPHELPHELP

Or "texting", for short.

I just don't understand why people have long conversations through texting when they could say what they wanted to say 10 times faster if they just called the person!

It makes sense if you just want a quick answer to something, but it's almost never used in that way.

My wife has a very good contract with Orange - pay as you go pricing but on a monthly contract. They stopped offering it years ago but she's been able to keep it (her monthly bills can be £5 or so!) She now wants to upgrade her very old Nokia but not change the price plan.

She's after an easy to use, reliable, camera phone with removable memory card. Cost: up to £150ish.

Any suggestions?

My child is 12 and is wanting a cell phone. She goes to dances, practices, walks home from school, ect. Plus she is also helping to pay for it. The phone she wants is nothing special. Just an LG from Alltel. She wants a plan because of the daily access fee plus minutes. The plan she wants is 39.99 dollars a month. I can afford that with her helping me. But I'm still not sure.

I've had it with people talking on their cell phones while driving.
If you are going to use your phone, pull over and stop putting other inocent drivers, and other's in danger because their minds are somewhere else.
I've seen people fly through red lights while talking on the phone, stopped at a green light while they are talking and texting.
I still see 90% of people using them, without hands free devices.
And the text messaging bit while driving!!

I was interested in getting a plan with Verizon through WalMart..but since I don't have any credit yet, I would need to deposit 300$ so I was wondering if I'd sign up for the plan and buy my phone online off of the Verizon website, would I still need to put a deposit down? if so, would it still be 300$? thanks for your help

Problem: Keeps on turning of on its own! Even when the battery is full and not even close to being dead, and when I restart it of course, it turns of on its own again! It makes me really mad! Also, the second problem is that it doesnt charge right either it will say its full, but when I unplug it... it's dead!

So anyone have the same problems? Does anybody have some soulutions? Please Help Me! :)

There is a new phone for verizon and i would like to know if anyone out there has answers to the questions i have about it. first off, if i go in and buy the phone new with no contract, can i put a t-mobile sim card in it and use it, if not, tell me how i can use it 4 t mobile. second, it says it has 2gb internal memory. is there a spot for additional memory? thank you everyone that helps---best answer...gets best answer!!!!

For some strange reason the calendar for my phone has been screwing up. There are some entries that I can't delete which says, "Service is not available".

Not for Prepaid so Virgin Mobile isn't included. Out of At&t/Cingular , Sprint , T-Mobile , Verizon or Alltel. Which one do you like best out of them? or if you like your carrier what is it? Thanks.

I was really shocked when I saw the 8GB Apple iphone selling at 199 bucks in Yahoo Auction Singapore. Is that a scam or it's really how much the iphone is worth now? I have a Motorola RAZR 2, and I bought a SanDisk 2GB microSD card to use in it. After formatting it on my computer, it worked fine for about 2 days. Then, out of nowhere, my phone stopped recognizing it. I deleted the pics off of it and re-formatted, and it started working again. But, two days later, it once again stopped working. I brought my phone back to the Verizon store to ask for advice and they replaced the phone, saying it was the easiest way for me to find out what was wrong. I can access the card on my PC and add things to it, but my phone will not recognize the card at all. Can anybody help?
