if my zip code is 714. I wanted to put *69 but I pressed *67 not the right one to block it. I wanted to put it in a different 949 area code. When I put *67 would it be my area code or the 949 area code when I dial?

I don't know what all that babbling about *numbers is, but if you don't enter an area code it defaults to your own

This is kinda confusing since the only way to change your area code is through your phone Co.
As far as dialing *67 > all that does is block your existing # from the one your calling.
Dialing *69 is done to automatically call back whoever called your phone last.
hope this helps............
