I use the best setting on my camera at 6MP; and at finest .When I download them on computer...I believe it's ADOBE photo it automatically makes photos smaller (jepg). Now I put these photos on a cd. Taking cd to store and enlarging photo to 8X10, will I get same quality like if I took a memory stick to store. In other words these shots are in jepg on cd. Am I loosing something when enlaring?

Which of the two takes better-quality pictures, especially in not-so-ideal conditions such as low light?

Or, is there another digital camera (non-SLR, please) that takes even better quality pictures than those two cameras?

Many thanks in advance for your help! :)

I always buy those disposable cameras to take pictures and most of the time, the pictures come out pretty good. I had one picture that I took during the day come out really dark. I want this picture for my 2007 Christmas cards. Can a photo place make the picture a little bit lighter without disorting the entire picture?

i take pictures of groups of 10 to 40 people,(school) i´ve been using 400 film which they come out ok for small groups( 3 to 8) but for larger they´re pretty dim unless they´re taken outside the classroom during sunlight , someone advised me to use 800 film and the pictures turned out to be much worse than even in smaller groups.(the flash does fine) . is it time to buy a another film or digital camera ? if so, which one between 150-250 $ budget
thank so much for your advice

I take a lot of photos indoor and in low-light environment and thinking of upgrading my current digital camera that doesn't do the job perfectly. I've been told to get one with a higher pixels or ISO rating.

Is this true? or there are other factors I need to take into account? Can you also recommend a good brand of compact digital camera I should buy? Size does matter for me.

Thanks in advance..

Featuring a 5-megapixel CCD sensor, the DMC-FZ20K delivers a wide range of detail and color with images up to 2560 x 1920 pixels--enough information to make photo-quality prints up to 13 by 17 inches. Leica DC Vario-Elmarit 12x zoom lens, with 3 aspheric elements, combines comfortably small size with superb image rendering. By combining with a 4x digital zoom, users will have an equivalence of a 48x zoom lens in a very compact body, though users should note that digital zoom degrades picture quality.
Movie Mode and Audio
The DMC-FZ20K lets you shoot QuickTime Motion JPEG video at resolutions up to 320 x 240 pixels with sound. The amount of video you can capture is limited by space on the memory card; you'll fit more at low quality (10 frames-per-second) than at high quality (30 frames-per-second). The movies aren't camcorder quality, but they're fun and convenient, and they're perfect as e-mail attachments. You can also record aud

I recently purchased a canon powershot camera (A640). I had a different canon camera before. When I look at an image through the lcd display and I zoom 100% I can see details that are not seen in the downloaded jpg image. Take hair for example. In the LCD I am able to see strands and rich details, in the jpg the hair seems more saturated, it easily looses some of those details. This happened with my previous camera too. I have a 24 inch dell monitor at 32 bit colors (I don't think it is a monitor display issue)... is there a fix? How can I get what I see in the viewfinder to be the same to what I download from the memory card?

I am looking to purchase a Kodak Z650. Does anyone know where I can find a new one possibly bundled with a 1GB or higher memory card - under $220 with the card or under $160 w/o the card. It should include all contents of original package.
