I'm looking to buy a a good quality compact camera, and the best choices I found were the Canon SD800 and th Casio Exilim EX-Z850. Which should I get? Or is there an even better camera?

When I take pictures of my kids in action, the background is fine but the kids are a big blur.

I've tried setting the ISO to 800 manually and taking pictures without the flash and they are a little better than when on auto or kids and pets setting, but still have some blurring. I would like to not HAVE to use flash because of the slow flash recharge time.

I have a Canon Powershot A530.

Thank you!

it gives you the effective field of view of 1.5X of what it says on the lens.

For example: a 50mm lens will have the field of view of a 75mm lens on a 36mm film camera

always wanted to get serious into photography work but still considered a beginner. Been looking around for a DSLR within my budget and the Nikon D40 seems good. You may like to follow this link to take a look at the D40 if you have not seen it before.

I have a problem with my Minolta Dimage A1 digital camera. All the pictures I take with the flash are all purple (before I reset the camera settings it was even worse: pictures taken without flash but with artificial light would also have a light purple tint). The white balance is on auto, the camera did not take a knock or anything, and I am told that the repair would cost the best part of the price of a new one. Also I live in London, does anyone know a photo shop where they have an interest in helping you rather than just selling you a new camera or telling you to send it off for repair? Many thanks for your help.

That won't go fuzzy and blurry when your trying to take a picture of something moving. Price doesn't matter when your suggesting a camera I would just like to know if there are digital cameras out there like that.

I'm wanting to buy an SLR Film Camera. What can you recommend. I am an avid photographer ready to take it to the next level. Not to expensive, but good photos. I heard Nikon was good...

I checked the internet and the price quoted by Kodak is $199.25, but could not find any locations in India from where I could buy it. So, if anyone could point me in the right direction, I would be grateful. The camera is "KODAK EASYSHARE ONE"

I own a Logitech Orbit MP. The lense housing that protects the interior lens assembly was scuffed slightly by the Logitech packaging. There is really no way to avoid this as all Logitech Orbit MP packaging is poorly designed. However, I am interested in repairing the very minor scratches on the clear plastic lens housing and am looking for the best repair compound to do so. Please name all the (kick butt) ones you know for ten points.

My digital camera flash is set to remove red-eye. It is not reducing the red-eye in my pets when I take photos of them. Is there a reason for this? Is there anything I can do to fix the problem?

I have a pretty good quality Kodak C340 digital camera, and you would think that when you pay a few hundred for a camera you wouldn't get so much red-eye, but with this camera I do. Why does it take so many red-eye pictures, and is there anything I can do to minimize or stop it?
