I was looking into a Samsung, but a friend told me they were not very good. Now I'm looking into a Nikon (as she suggested) and a Kodak. What is the best brand to buy? Is there another brand I should be looking at?

how do i fix the lens on my nikon digital camera??when i turn it on, the lens won't come all the way out, and the screen just says 'lens error', so i cant take pictures......

I have one Nikon film camera with 38-90mm zoom lense and a sony hc42 handycam (miniDV, 1 MP still). Now planning to by a digital still camera. I can afford around $500, but looking for a cheaper one. What should be best for me? A low end digital SLR (from Kodak etc) or a good digital camera (~5MP Nikon/Canon)? I use camera for my personal use (family foto, travel pic etc).

Vivitar 5MP Digital Camera/ Camcorder/ DVR/ MP3 Player, DVR-530 is my camera. i bought it couse i have two 2 gig sd cards and i just notesed it says 1 gig max. do i need a new card. it is for x-mas so i can not test it yet.

I want to put a picture of my friends head on a different body (I have the photo of my friend and the other picture saved to my computer now). Im just doing this for my friends. How can I do this? I dont want to install any software or downloads. Also, I dont want anything that costs! Can I do this with my Paint program? How?

The lense didn't break but it did sink in and it still takes pictures, although really blurry.

i mean how do i know if it cn see things 100 meters or 20 meters away , how do i know based on the spects if it can see things from afar that are more than 100 meters or more away

I shoot with the finest setting at 6MP. Sent 2 photos to a friend via e-mail and it took him 1 hr and 50 min to download each photo. He told me to set my camera at 3 MP and it would be a lot quicker. Am I understanding that I have to lower the quality setting just to e-mail faster? I could set camera at VGA; but then I'd have a crummy looking 8X10 should I enlarge photo.

WE got it from sears, but we bought it in the states. i'm back home in canada now, but do you think i can bring the camera back to the sears here? i have the receipt and warranty and all the boxes and stuff. or should i just mail it back to the states and get them to fix it?
