The Olympus Stylus 720 is designed to bounce. Sony is not. Call Sony to find out how much to repair it. You'll find that you're better off getting a new camera. Repairs are often more expensive than newer cameras. You can get Sony's W50 or W70 for around $210-230. (They use Pro Duo memory, so, you can also switch to Canon or another brand since your memory sticks aren't used in any newer cameras)

Kegdawg n is probably correct, buy a new one instead. But to go out and buy an Olympus because as he said they're designed to bounce and Sony isn't don't believe it. I sincerely doubt that he'd play handball using his Olympus as a ball, haha.
