how do i fix my camera?

how do i fix the lens on my nikon digital camera??when i turn it on, the lens won't come all the way out, and the screen just says 'lens error', so i cant take pictures......

You're going to need some professional help. Find a camera repair shop. The Geeksquad at BestBuy can do some repair jobs. You might be better off getting a new camera.

You can try taking the batteries out, making sure you've got a full charge, and replacing- but frankly, that doesn't sound like the problem. You've most likely need to send it in to the Nikon service center. These little digicams just aren't designed for user repair.
