The lense didn't break but it did sink in and it still takes pictures, although really blurry.

even if it hadn't expired, manufacturer's warranties only cover defects not drops. you'll have to pay for any fixes and may be better off buying a new camera.

I have experienced this twice before. In the instance with Sony, I had dropped my camera and the screen was visibly broken. Sony would not cover the repair under warranty because it was obvious I damaged it. The cost for repair was about the same price I paid for the camera in the first place. On the next occasion with Cannon, I dropped my camera but there were not visible injury signs. So, they repaired it under warranty. Best of luck and happy Holidays.

Sounds like you messed up the lense gears. They will fix it, but it will cost you a pretty penny since the warranty is expired.

you may try yet i does not be very hopeful.The lens in maximum cameras are made up of a number of components and once you drop it they get out of alignment and hence can not concentration. My suggestion is which you purchase a clean digital camera, in view which you're problably dropping time.

im sorry for u, big loss.
the company will not fix it for u first bcs they are not responsible for this kind of accidents. and also bcs the warranty is expired.
