Thanks a lot!!

I have already installed the Sony Picture Package programme to my PC and followed the screen instructions, but only the files from the memory stick duo is copied, while the video files from the mini DV tape isn't. Do I have to adjust settings in Sony Handycam? I'm on Win XP.

I thinking about getting a JVC Hard drive camcorder but I had a quick question. The camcorder has a 20 gig hard drive but it also has a slot for an SD card. Does anyone know if you have to have that SD card or is that just if you want additional storage ? Thanks bunches. Oh and I'm looking at model number GZ-MG21US If anyone has one of these I'd be so grateful to hear your input :-)

Hey all. I have a hi8 camcorder and am wanting to transfer as is to a vhs tape. IT says to just hook it up to my vcr with rca cables included and set vcr to line in to be able to recor d from the camcorder instead of the cable. But, I do not know how to set my vcr to line in as I do not have the manual. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

After usage of 4 years, all of a sudden, it is not working. Suddenly while in standby mode, the power gone and it never came back. Really, it is not a power problem. I heard that this problem in Sony camcorders in many of friends' case. Would Sony rectify the problem?
