my uncle had one, i mean has one but it's time for some change now!!!!

i have canon zr100 minidv it's small, and works great and it's not expensive at all.
so go ahead and buy it.
it's a lot easier in use, u can watch it on ur pc & tv so easily too.

The easiest learning curve is to get a new JVC MiniDV camcorder. I think they sell revisions with the revision number being the hundreds digit so try looking for one with the number X90 (X can be ANY number)

No. I have a Canon zr200 and I like it. It is newer than 5 years. Is yours MiniDV? Canon zr200 is MiniDV format, and they just lowered the prices on most zr models.
