hi i was thinking of getting an unlocked iphone from ebay for 300 dollars! they say its brand new. so is it safe or is it just a scam??

I got an HD-DVD for Christmas but none of my dvd players can play it. My parent was thinking I could just watch the HD-DVD on the 360 without needing the extra attachment. It says on the DVD's box that it has as a 'special feature' to play under 480i Standard Def. Is there any way I can watch this DVD without buying the extra attachment for the 360?

Just got a Sony Bravia 1080, what's my best bet for dvd/home theatre systems? Can I use a regualr dvd with a HDTV or do I need a an HD DVD or an upconverting one and can I use any home theatre syetme with this? Thanks :)

I found a TV i really like for a tremendous price.

It says it supports 1080i, 480p, 480i,

720p is not listed, I'm a little confused because 1080i is a higher resolution (even though 720p has a higher framerate).

This TV has nothing but great reviews even though it is old. It's a CRT (tube) HDTV, toshiba 34HF81.

Will HD channels look just as good on 1080i?. If they are broadcast in 720p, do they get upscaled to 1080i?
How will normal channels look.

And my last question is.. i know DVDs are in 480p, so what exaclty does an 'upscale' dvd player do, convert up to 1080i / 720p, but this tv has no 720p?

Hi, I know my title might be a bit confusing but I have some general questions. I might sound like a noob because I am fairly new to all this HD/Blu-Ray Technology going on with all the electronics selling at the stores these days but if anyone can answer a few questions for me I would appreciate it.

I recently bought a Sony Bravia KDL-46W3000 HD-TV which has 3 HDMI outputs and I plan to buy a Sony Home Theater System, along with an HD-DVD or a Blu-Ray Player unless I also decide to get a PS3 along with the HD-DVD player.

Ive been searching the internet and read somewhere that you cant connect Home Theater systems to a HD-DVD player or a Blu-Ray player... and was wondering if this was true or not?

And if I do decide to purchase all these items will I have enough HDMI outputs from my T.V?

One last question does the PS3 play only Blu-Ray Discs, because so far not every movie is in Blu-Ray so I didnt know if I would have to buy both or if buying a PS3 only would be solve my problem?

I have the Kodak easy share Z712 IS,and i just bought the rechargeable batteries yesterday. I charged the batteries ALL THE WAY,and when i put them into my camera,after i take about 2 or 3 pictures,it says the battery is almost dead.
what do i do?

ok, so when i plug my iPod nano (the older ones- before they had ones with color- 1 GB) into the computer, it doesn't show up, and when i try to turn it on, it doesn't turn on- it is fully charged- charged for about 10 hours while i was sleeping
I've tried everything i can think of but it won't turn on

Is it better to use the cable than the wireless connection. I dont know the wep key or password cause its in the dots and i dont know what they are. So i was wondering if i need the wep key or any kind of password if i use the cable for the ps3.

I got a Playstation 3 for Christmas, and I have two games; Tony Hawk's Proving Ground, and Assassin's Creed, of which both have frozen multiple times. On THPG, when I go into career mode, when I
m learning "Nail the Grab", it will freeze. And when I play Assassin's creed, it'll freeze from time to time. And it's getting frustrating, any ideas? BTW those games are BRAND NEW and virtually have NO scratches YET.

I recently got my son a laptop for Christmas, Ive ordered the DSL in which I have still yet to recieve for the internet axcess. However, someone has told me that you can pay like $30.00 for a card and use it and not even have to have a home phone service for it. I know there are wireless internet services available, and I am finding it cheaper to get the DSL and the basic home phone, but is there a cheaper way out?
