yes - i will assume you have windows media player installed (if you don't, then go download it from the microsoft website) all the other media players will do it aswell.

open windows media player and look along the top (where it says now playing rip burn etc) click on rip.

now right click on rip and choose format, you wikk get a drop down menu - choose mp3.
now put your cd in the drive and media player should automatically rip it (copy it). when it has finished you will find the album in your my music folder. you then need to put the ripped album on your mp3 in the usual way.

Yes. I think Windows Media Player can rip music to mp3 but by default I think it rips to WMA. If this isn't the case try Winamp. This will do what you want easily.

well i just put the cd on my comp and then copied the file onto my mp3 player. I didnt need to download anything.
