I plugged my camera in with the wrong charger accidentally and now it won't turn on. Any idea if this is something that can be fixed or does something like that just fry all of the electronics?

I had a tape recorder that I used to tape all the charts onto a tape, every sunday afternoon, trying to pause inbetween songs, and rushing to change the tape over when it had ran out, so that you didn't miss too much of the song. Was I the only sad person to do this, or are there others out there that done this too?

I'm planning on getting an iPod nano and I wanted to see if it was worth the money. Is it going to just have problems where I just have to keep sending it in? I had an iPod shuffle a couple years back and I sent it in and the one they sent me didn't work. Is it worth it?

I know that the 20 gb can hold up to 5000 songs... which would be awesome... but the 8 gb is apparently better in quality? Suggestions? I'm just looking for one that can hold a good amount of songs, I don't care about videos or any extra crap, anddddd decent quality would be good haha...

Some DVD Recorders with digital tuners are not capable of outputting true high-definition content from ATSC signals. It seems that they down-convert the original high-definition signal to 480p and then it up-convert it to 1080p. The down-conversion appears to be necessary for DVD recording purposes.

How can I find a DVD Recorder / VCR combo deck with an ATSC tuner that will deliver true HD content to an HDTV monitor from live OTA HD digital broadcasts?

Can I continue to use my vcr recording features after setting up my old tvs wth digital-to-analog converter boxes? I'm not thrilled at the prospect of having to buy new dtv's or dvr's to replace the perfectly good analog tv's and vcr's I already have. Frankly all this switchover nonsense seems like some kind of government-sanctioned money pit scam to me.

I have a fifth generation 30GB ipod from late 2006 has just stop producing sound. Its completely charged and ive tried it with several earphones but you still cant hear anything. Everything else is working good though. And no im not death.

I know it is TV, but is this all that can be HD? And is the picture really, noticeably different than a normal TV? Are HD and digital the same thing?

I have an Xbox 360 downstairs, and the ethernet cord they give you in the box is not long enough so i have purchased a longer one. I'm wondering if I can directly hook it into my linksys router by my computer. Or, does this need to be plugged into a wall ethernet cord. Because when I did this before (into the router) I could not connect do to a problem with the MTU.

OK, i have never had surround sound before, and wanted to see how much it would cost to hook my xbox up like that. What things will i need? I have heard something about a reciever...is this expenive? do i need to buy an "optical cable"? and does surround sound work if i am sitting near to the rear speakers, because i sit against the back wall...?

Looking to buy a small home theatre system (under $750) for an apartment. We have a TV, DVD player and PVR etc. but want to add a sound system and controller that will allow us to attach an Ipod and computer (so I can play mp3s from itunes). We are also planning on using this system without the TV/DVD/PVR for a simple sound system for a small wedding (and as a home stereo) so it needs to stand on it's own too. Any suggestions? How do we hook up the computer?

i have a nintendo ds lite and a wifi usb connector thing but i also want a nintendo wii.im afraid that shortly after i get nintendo wii , nintendo might come out with a better console.
