I'm planning on getting an iPod nano and I wanted to see if it was worth the money. Is it going to just have problems where I just have to keep sending it in? I had an iPod shuffle a couple years back and I sent it in and the one they sent me didn't work. Is it worth it?

I love mine 4GB 1st-generation Nano. The only thing that has gone wrong with it (in 18 months) is the earphones. I bought a $12 replacement set (Sony) at Target, and they work better than the Apple originals. The Nano has suffered a number of indignities with no deterioration in functioning. I'm considering upgrading to the new one only to get more storage.

yes get the nano:
pros: its small portable real small, you can buy up to 4 gb of memory. Its beatiful colorful you can decorate it personalize it, you can add pictures and music its color lcd. Its better then buying the new ipod nano video cause all you get is 4gb and you can only have like ten videos and thats it.The nano have great assecories great battery life and light weight.

Gen 3 is cool - expensive though.
I bought my Gen 5.5 ipod 30 gb video used for $130

i think it is. They are going to keep coming up with new iPods though. And then you might want a new one. If you can stick with it go for it.
