how do i download movies on my ipod?

Is there anyway that I can download my own DVDs that I have at home into my ipod for free?

Take the DVD and copy it into iTunes. Put it in a playlist.

When you sync your iPod with your computer, go into the Video tab of the iPod and make certain to check the movie to upload onto your iPod.

Sync your iPod to the computer once more.

It should be on your iPod, assuming you had enough storage space.
