hey all i have cable and satellite on my Hitachi plasma 55 inch but seem i cant split it. i know how split the screen with two picture but i cant get it for that 1 is watching cable and another for satellite.

i have a comcast HD cable box and its hooked up to my television, all the HD channels come in amazing but the other channels like mtv, tnt, tbs, etc. all look terrible, is there anyway i can fix that?

I have the component cables run to my tv and then audio cables run from tv to my receiver for a tv output. Do i get the same sound as i do with my original dvd player that has audio cables going straight from player to recvr? Does my samsung lcd receive the 5.1 surrond sound ?

I just picked up a super 8 video camera from an antique store today. I have tried looking up the camera online but information on it proves to be difficult. The camera is a Hanimex Loadmatic Compact CPM 53. Can I use any super 8 cartridges in it or does it take a special kind? Thank you for all your help in advance!

it should meet these requirement:
-CAN USE A SIM CARD
-camera phone
-not black.

and preferably..
a flip phone
with mp3
and inexpensive.

but it DOES !!NOT!! ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY COMPLETELY HAVE TO BE A FLIP PHONE!

if it's something like a blackberry or something of that nature, it does not have to be a flip phone.

I love my digital HD cable, but I'm pondering a move outside the city where satellite will be my only option.

My question is this:

Do the satellite companies still require you to have a phone line connected to your receiver?

While I'm asking a question about satellite tv, your opinion on DISH vs DIRECTV would be appreciated. Keep in mind that getting HD channels (even local channels) is extremely critical to my decision.

Also, I will want to get my Internet connection from whichever company I go with, too.

So I guess there are really three questions in here:

1. Do the satellite companies still require a phone line?
2. Do you prefer DISH or DIRECTV, and why?
3. What about their Internet options?

I am looking to purchase a professional SLR film camera off ebay to replace my Nikon N65 (that was stolen on a trip). I really like shooting black and white on film (even though I know film is obsolete). I figured since film cameras are so cheap now... I could probably afford to get a very nice one for really cheap. I am not partial to any particular brand.. What camera (and type of lens) should I get? What types of lenses should I stay away from.

Is there a better camera than a Nikon N65 that would make sense for me to get because the price is just as cheap?

dropped it from like 4 or 5 fett MAYBE.its not turning on now.well..it has been dead ALL night long (10+ hours) and im charging the battery for likr 45 minutes but still it hasnt charged at ALL! i turn it on the green light blinnks for a second, then turns off again.which means that its not REALLY broken right?cuz the light is still turning on.the website says it takes 100 minutes to get a FULL charge so wouldnt 45 mins. at least get half a charge?! please tell me i did not break my camera i cant wait so long o wait for it to do 100 mionutes.the site also says it can withstand a 5 feet drop..but ive dropped it before at least 5 times ive had it for like 2 months.
I DONT WANT BAD NEWS ANSWERS!POSITIVELY HAPPY HOPEFUL ANSWERS!if i broke it my dads going to kill me..but i think its under warranty1..maybe not i dont know.

hi i need help on working with a Nikon D40 DSLR camera.

1) i need to shoot 36 images exploring depth of field control. I must shoot a series of the same object. One image for every full f-stop on my lens. f/4, f/5.6 etc HOW DO I DO THAT?? where is it on the camera?

i then need to note the exposure for each image...because i need to to present it in class...now what is exposure in each image??

2) Then i need to shoot 36 images on Shutter Speed Control. 1/250, 1/125...etc. Probaly on things that have movemnt..Now where do i find the Shutter speed button on the camera??
