When making a DVD on my computer using Windows DVD Maker on Windows Vista, it gives to aspect ratio options. 4:3 and 16:9. Which would be better for me? I've been using 4:3, but that sucks in my DVD player because it has a black square around the video, about 2-3 inches in each direction. Using my 360 it doesn't look as bad, because it has 10 zoom levels instead of 3-4 like my DVD Player, and I am able to cut out the left and right black sides of the square, and it looks nice with just 2-3 inches of black frame on the top and bottom, like many widescreen movies. Before I waste a DVD and time making a DVD with 16:9 will it look better or not? My TV is a Sony, I think 37" SDTV, not sure if it's widescreen or not. It does have an option in the menu to enhanch with 16:9 aspect ratio, but with my DVDs I make with aspect ratio's of 4:3 this makes them much worse. So would 16:9 look better do you think? The only thing 4:3 looks good on is my 360 so it looks bad on my frnds dvd.

As a person with no allegiance to any specific make, I find their dominating digital market share a bit intriguing.

I understand Nikon and Canon have dominated the film scene for many years, but I can't figure out why they still have such a large following on the digital format. The cameras they design are built like film cameras which happen to store digitally, like staying to the 3:2 format, and such. Other companies are moving to a more computer friendly 4:3 format, and building digital cameras from the ground up to suit their purpose. It would seem to me that if someone wanted to shoot digitally, they would want to shoot with a camera made specifically to do just that, right?

I'm not bashing Canon and Nikon (I own a Canon and a Nikon film SLR), but I just don't understand it. Is it because all these photographers who used to shoot on film are familiar with the Canon and Nikon feel, and don't want to buy new lenses, or is it because they still have the best product?

Is there anyway i can get tv shows onto my zen vision w. itunes has the itunes store, so is there anyway i can record the shows on my dvr, then record them on my dvd player, and then upload my mp3 player onto the dvd player? is there anyway i can connect the vision w onto a dvd player? and how can i get tv shows, can i upload them from the itunes music store and onto my creative labs somehow?

I need to add a subwoofer for my Paradigm Atoms. I don't need a lot of bass, actually only very little. I still want it to sound clean. However, I don't want to spend a lot of $$$$. Again, I am not looking for people to hear me 5 miles away. I just want enough to where it compliments the Paradigms but not overpows the sound.

i woudn't feel comfortable speaking about this to people iknow so why not try strangers. the thing is i excerise a lot okay recently i and my mother went to a park and i after runnign 2 miles sat down and i sat on a bench and from that time m butt hurts for some reason i mean i checked the area where it hurt it's gone hard any help

ive been wanting to buy a home theater system for sometime (to watch movies and listen to music) but im undisided on which is best. im looking at sound quality not features. i went to circuit city but there home theaters are capped so no one will put it too lound.

I have a FujiFilm Finepix, 7.3 megapixels, A700.
I dropped it on my deck, and now the lens is jammed inside the other one, the shutter is stuck halfway shut. When I turn it on, the beeps and a notice comes up saying "Zoom Error". I can still view my pictures, I just can't take any. Any suggestions on how to unjam the lens?
And please don't suggest that I need to buy a new one, or get it repaired, I know thats an option.

Im going to trade my ukulele and my LCD scrolling belt buckle for my cousins 1st generation ipod nano....his nano is kind of beat up...i paid $20 for the uke and $20 for the belt buckle....so...basically...im giving him $40 for his old beat up 2GB 1st generation nano...is that ripping him off?

I'm thinking of upgrading my cell phone, and these are my choices. I'm pretty dense when it comes to this kind of stuff. If you are familiar with any of these phones, please give me pros and cons. Price isn't an issue - the most expensive one is $100 and that's not a big deal.

I'm having a problem with my Motorola V265 it isn't powering on through my battery. When I connect it to its charger it powers up just fine and starts and charges and everything. I've charged my battery completey and my phone still does not turn and when I take my charger out of my phone my phone automatically shuts off. Also sometimes when I plug my charger to my phone my phone says "Invalid Battery".

What could be my problem.
