ok... my phone just got stolen at the park.. it is a nokia 6265.. it has some gps **** in it... can the cops find where it is by using that gps thing??

Call your cell phone provider and report it stolen NOW. They maybe able to locate it, but that's not what it's for. That's to locate YOU if you ever need help, so don't expect them to do it. Just call them so you don't get dunned for the charges some bozo is undoubtedly racking up on your phone as I type.

I asked my bf and he said that yes every phone made with a GPS or made within the last 2 years can be tracked by the cops.

Most likely, depending on what type of GPS it is. It's worth a try, especially if your phone is expensive.

nope. gps is for amber alerts and people lost in the mountains.
Sorry you phone is gone. Call your cell company and have it turned off immediately no charges to you.
Then call your insurance company for a new phone.
