my cat bit thru the cord of some very expensive headphones. is there a way to fix it? one side works fine the other is very quiet.

Well, I am currently looking for a new camera (preferably from Sony) and I stumbled upon the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T100. I was wondering if this is a reliable camera and if it is one of Sony's better digital still cameras? I currently have the Cybershot DSCW100 and I'm just tired of the simplistic look, bulkiness, and flash. So is the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T100 a good camera and if not WHAT MIGHT YOU RECOMMEND (something sleek and stylish and good quality, something that will last a few years, under $400)?

I bought a HTIB that comes with a HDMI output and recently got a HD compatible lcd monitor which is multipurpose for pc input and a proper tv therefore wish to utilise the HD features. Question comes in, the monitor I using dun come with HDMI input instead a DVI input. Therefore a DVI HDMI cable will works. But then again will the quality lose out to proper HD output to HD input? What are the limitation for this setup..?

I have a 15 inch TV and a collection of horror and comedies (lol I know kinda polar movie genre's lol) and wondered what I should get first, any suggestions would be great I'm trying to make my room look more desirable and more enjoyable kind of boring and dull now

Surround sound system (Please recommend a set up or something because I'm pretty in the dark if you choose this one not mandatory though)

1080i wide screen TV

entertainment center (I have something of the sort that would work but nothing that's totally desirable)

Movie posters for the room for decoration and with and more movies to my movie collection



I plan on getting a blue ray player but later.

A disgruntled neighbor said he did not want the piece of communication equipment anymore. But inorder to decide what to do with it, I need to know what it is. Here is the description to be best of my knowledge. First it is a Celwave product. It is black on the bottom with 4 round cylinders about 16 inches long at the bottom. On top of the 4 cylinders there seems to be 5 to 6 individual posts where you can connect communication lines. This equipment has no data information sheet on it telling you what it's product description is. It just has Celwave and a serial number and another product number. If anyone could help me with this I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

There are several commonly available cameras in the under $400 range, or even under $200, with better optics that take much better pictures and are easier to use than any of the Canon Powershot series. Even so, people keep recommending this fragile, difficult to use, easy to break camera with really mediocre optics. There are several other cameras that are so much better that cost much less and don't break because they do not have fragile knobs sticking out of the case. Further, the Cannon optics are blurry when compared to any but the worst of the cameras at a given price point because the Cannons do not have F-stops higher than 5. All the processing or mega-pixels in the world will not give a better image without better optics offered by a higher F stop. Higher F stop almost always means better optics which translates to a much sharper clearer image with more depth. What is wrong with these people? Why to they flock to these cheezy Canons? Marketing? Ignorance? Fad?

I was waiting for a new show to air on National Geographic. I waited a whole week and just today a storm come and I have no signal on the FTA. Do you guys know of any way to increase the efficiency of a sattelite dish. I have Dish Network and I'm not even going to bother calling them because they know less than a two yearold.
