my cat bit thru the cord of some very expensive headphones. is there a way to fix it? one side works fine the other is very quiet.

It sounds as if only conductor is broken. You need to strip away some of the jacket. Use a sharp knife or razor blade. Expose the conductors. Clean then and twist them together, and solder if you know how to do this. Be careful not to melt insulation or short the other conductors. Then tape it back up. It would be easier for me to show you that to tell you. Or you can replace the cord, and re-solder then to the head set itself. If unsure, take them to a shop.

I think it is not possible. I'll have this problem whenever I buy new head phones as my child will bite it. You have to replace a new one.

It's not difficult. If you aren't feeling confident about tackling it yourself then find a friend who is.

you can splice the wires or buy a new set
