I can put mp3's on my phone but cant use them as a ringtone...Is there a certain format i need to use or a song length. I have the ability to change the format to whatever i need with Cool Edit Pro.

Well when i got my ipod i lived with my mom, i recently moved with my dad and during the move the disks that came with my ipod got lost, SoOo now i need to onstall it into my dads computer. what can i do??

I accidently plugged my brother's video ipod into my computer (we have the same kind of ipod) and when I took it out, I plugged mine in. Then, all of his stuff including his podcasts and videos were automatically on my ipod! My ipod had become my brothers ipod. I managed to find about a quarter of my itunes stuff on my library, but lost over half of everything..including songs, videos, podcasts. It seems logical that there should be a way to somehow find these things, since all I did wrong was plug his ipod into my computer.

it won't come with a manual.

I'd like to know how to 'program' the camera to do what I need it to do ie. what size aperture and what shutter speed do I need to use when I'm shooting:

A) Portraits [indoor, outdoor, static and candid] and
B) Landscapes [general panorama or with focal feature]

I'm OK with lighting, shot composition etc.

I'm starting a vintage camera collection if you want to know why I'm not going digital. This one in particular is a Praktica MTL3.

All the high end AV equipment out there (Sony, Denon, Marantz, etc.) are made in China, Malaysia, and the Phillipines with cheap, inferior parts that will break in 2-5 years. I was hoping there is a solidly built AV Surround receiver out there that is still made in Japan with solid, quality parts and electronics.

THX sound is optional, HDMI optional. Model numbers would be great. I just want a true Japanese-built surround receiver that's built like a tank.

just got my orange pay monthly contract phone in the post, nokia n73, i put in the sim card, rang that number to register it and its registered, turned phone off and back on, got them txts from orange saying your services are now available etc. says Orange on the screen etc, but when i try and make a call it says "calls from this number are barred." and then cuts the call off. whats going on? i can't ring orange off my mobile because thats what happens too.

any ideas?!

Hey,
I am planning to get anew camcorder. Since I am an IT person(I am programmer) . I like to edit my videos add music , mix videos and create interesting movies. Now I use 5 years old Digital 8 camcorder. Now, its time to buy a new toy. Can't deside what to get. Plus i do not like quality....
It takes too long to transfer video from camcorder to computer for dv. Hardrive camcorders looks better in this case.What about picture quality? Will i loose quality if i will buy hardrive camcorders instead of mini dv?
Any particular Models in mind?
