Hi Folks. I have an old Canon HI-8 analog video camera and want to see if it would be possible to use it as a webcam for a Macintosh laptop. If it is possible, what additional equipment would be needed? Thanks

My desired location is above the fireplace, and the studs seem to be pretty far apart. Plus, spending $250 on a mount that is just some peices of metal seems like a ripoff

My microwave has shown no signs of slowing down or wearing out and has been wonderful until the other day. I went to use it and and set the time and it just would not nuke the food as if the door was open but yet you could see the seconds counting down and all the clocks lights worked. So I made sure there was nothing in the door and door crevices and shut it harder and it worked fine. Then I go to use it later and it does the same thing except shutting it harder and making sure the door and jams were clean did not work this time and you could still see the seconds counting down.

I do not want to buy a new one but am willing to. I refuse to pay someone to fix it because it is more cost effective to buy a new one. Is there anyway I can easily fix it with some simple part? If not I will go buy a new one. Thanks

I'm looking to by my fiance` a nice MP3 player for our anniversary, but since i'm a full time college student and student teaching, i'm a little short on cash. Does anyone have a good suggestion for a nice MP3 player in the area of like 30-50 bucks?

Please don't send me a link to a best buy or a circuit city. i'm asking for personal experience or personal discontent with a particular product :)

I have a Palm Vx that works fine it has a black and white screen and no expansion slot I also have a large Bible program that I need on there that takes up most of my memory. My ipod is very scratched up and it is my fault it isnt working(I dropped it ) but I am within my warrenty period. Even though it is my fault it isnt working, can I still get it repaired? I went to there website and it says that as long as it is within the 1 year warenty you can get sent a fixed one..but mine is scratched and stuff and they dont say anything about that. Can someone help me out. Should I send it in or will they just send my broken one back to me?

I have a iPod video (30GB), and I was trying to synchronize all my photos, which all together take about 4GB. After iTunes 7 synchronized everything I had over 6GB of photos on my iPod (the "include full-resolution photos" box was not selected. How can I avoid using all that extra space for photos?
