whenever i go to turn my furby on it goes riht back to sleep

Dead batteries?
I knew someone who's furby did this right out of the box but it was defective.

First of all Furbys are creepy. They are like the scaries toys out there... To answer your question maybe you need to change the batteries or your turning it on in the dark or in a dark spot so it thinks its night time so it turns it self off.

I had a furby when I was young and I didn't like it at all. It made too much annoying noise, and I would put it in the closet so it would always be asleep.
If you don't want it to go to sleep, keep it active. Don't put it in dark places. Shake it around now and then. Keep it "entertained." Ha hah.
