I have a Sony DVD player upstairs and a Panasonic DVD player downstairs and I've been thinking about buying a DVD recorder to transfer some old VHS recordings onto DVD. But I want them to play on regular DVD players - mine in particular - but all if possible. I know that the DVD + disc I used on my computer DVD burner did not play in my Sony - how do I know what to do?

I recently bought an unlocked slvr and put my t-mobile sim card inside. For some reason the phone shows cingular as the service provider when clearly I'm still under my t-mobile contract. Also my reception has noticeably decreased. I'm wondering if the specific phone I've got is defective or if reception with slvr in general is bad. Since t-mobile doesn’t offer the slvr as a phone option, could this be the reason for the problems I’m experiencing?


Any suggestions on what your past experience is greatly appreciated along with any thoughts on where I could go to have the phone checked out.

is there anyway to change the pixel density of pictures? I saved pictures from the internet and they are very small, i want to make one my background but since its so small, when i try to stretch it it looks bad, and i know i can tile it but i want to be able to stretch it with it looking good. Will changing the pixel density help this and how can i do it? I have Photoshop, if you can using that program. THank you.

I bought a Motorola Razr phone from ebay. It will not power on and will only show something if it is plugged in to the charger. Then it only says "invalid battery"..anyone else have this problem and know how to fix it?

Really my question is are all those premium cables really worth the money? The Monsters, RCAs, Phillips, Acoustic Research, etc. are gold contacts, and oxygen free materials, etc, do they really make a difference? Sometimes when I swap them out with cheap cables everything works and looks the same.

i got inurance for my new ds lite (i got it the first day it came out) now the insurace lasts for one year. i had fun with it until it fell out of my pocket and the right button fell and got stuck in, and it dosent work anymore. so on the 30th day i came back to gamestop and i wanted to return it. unforunately they didn't have any ds ltes in stock, so i waited 3 weeks. now that i come back, tired of waiting, thay wont let me exchange it because of "Physical damage" i mean, i boutgh the insurance, Did't I????? so i never got my ds lite. who thinks that gamestop is full if it??

I have a Nikon Coolpix 2100. It does not work. I do not want to throw it in the garbage because I hear that these things contain toxic chemicals and metals.
The question is - what should I do with it?
Can I take it someplace to be recycled?
Is there a website that will take my broken old camera and recycle it?
