everytime i call my friends phone # it says "this # is temporarily disconnected, no further information is available". what does tht mean. its been doing that since august 28. how long can it be disconnected 4?? when will it start working again? it is a HOME phone

What do you THINK it means?.... geesch.! It probably means they haven't paid their phone bill.

The phone bill didn't get paid for a few months and the phone got cut off. After your friend pays the bill, the services will be restored the same day.
Unless your friend has SBC/ATT, then the services will be restored whenever they feel like it.

1. They did not pay their bill and the phone is shut off until they do.
2. They got a new phone number............When I got a new one,,,, that is the message that comes on, if someone tries to call me on my old number
3. A true friend would have contacted you with their new # by now.. or told you what's up with it being disconnected.

It means one of 3 things The bill went unpaid and they disconnected, your friend disconnected it without calling, or your friend blocked your number (which is only possible with certain carriers)

They either didn't pay their bill or they have requested there phone to be temporarly disconnected. It sometimes last from 60-90days depending on phone company.....

It means that it is disconnected and it wont work..Either your friend unpluged her phone or the phone company shut it off..
