i was scrolling to a song and my iPod just froze i can't do anything
now.

this jus recently happnd to me for the first time in like 3 months. so, what u do is:
switch the hold button on and off several times, and hold the MENU & CENTER buttons at the same time. it should reset with the apple on the screen. if the problem persists, repeat it. but it usually works the first time.

Press and hold the menu and center button for like 10 secs.

try connecting it to your pc. if not turn hold on then off and hold the center button and the play/pause button. that should reset your ipod. after that re enter your mp3s into it.

Try a hammer... that should do the trick.
Always works on the Apple products I've encountered ;)
