i have the cable line inserted directly to the vcr and a line running from the vcr to the tv .. the cable works on the tv but i can't figure out how to record ..

My brother has been using a playstation 1 memory card in my playstation 2 so he could save his games. When i was finally able to get him off so i could play my games, my playstation 2 wouldn't read any of the playstation 2 games i own. I tried every playstation 2 game in my house, but none would work.Then i tried every playstation 1 game in the house, and they all worked.Do you think that the memory card ruined the system? and if so how can i fix it?

What is the best gift to get an 11 yr old girl who loves basketball, likes clothes and jewelry, likes to follow trends, has an MP3 but not an iPOD, no cell phone, is smart and mature and responsible? She loves the computer also, what should I, her mother get her?

I need one for a phone job, but I am totally confused at what is on the shelf at Staples. Those seem to be cordless, which is no good for me, as I will need extended talk time. Also, how do these work. Do you remove the reciever when a call comes in or flip a button?

first of all i had to rebboot my computer so everything i had is gone exept my ipod still has things storred and well since i dont have anyhting in my computer if i update my ipod everything will be erased and i would liek to keep everything i have misic and photos but im not sure if there is some way i can put everyhtign back in my computer please help me !!

I've been looking for camera for quite a while now. I just can't decide which one i want to settle on. I want it to be something i can use for a while, and takes really good pictures. my dad recently vidoed our family holiday and he didnt format the disk before he did it all and not it wotn "finalize" which is apparntly wht u need 2 do for it to work on all dvd players is there anyway i can get this on a dvd at all does anyone know?

I had a tv and a vcr hooked up with a coaxial cable. I need to add a dvd. So i bought a rf modulator. Now I have the coaxial cable from the cable system to the vcr 'in', a coaxial cable from the vcr 'out' to the rf 'ant in', the yellow, red, and white connections hooked up between the dvd and the rf modulator, and a coaxial cable between the rf out and the tv in. I can't get the dvd to work. When I turn the tv on 3 (the rf modulator is set to 3), I don't get the blue screen of the philips dvd player, and i don't get playback if there is a dvd in the drive. Only static. I tried other channels on the tv, nothing helps. (I hooked the dvd up directly to another tv, and it works). I called Philips and they suggested it is a problem with the rf modulator or the tv, and they can't help me. Suggestions?

I am currently at school on the east coast but my cell phone area code is an Arizona area code. According to the website, night time minutes start at 9 pm local standard time. Do they go based off of the location I am calling from or the area code that the phone is registered to?

I have a cingular phone, and have had the same number with them for 4.5 yrs. I have been very satisfied over the last 4 yrs, but now charges keep on coming up, rollover minutes disappearing, and only told me that insurance only covers the phone number that you have it on, not all phones on the account (after my $400 phone was stolen) I was attempting to get them to help me track the phone down, which they will not do. The service just seems to have gone downhill in a hurry... are they getting too big for their own good that they no longer have a personal feeling relationship that seems that they actually care for the customer? (sorry for asking too many questions)

any feedback on what I can do to get the phone back, or whether t-mobile is worth switching over to (which way will I have less problems/complications/stupid people?)
