My brother is getting prank calls, so I was wondering how you can call back a person who just called you...is it *69 or something?

yes it is *69, if the number is not blocked the operator will give you the number, you can choose to connect the call, are hang up.
have paper and pin handy so you can write down the number.
then check number with,

*69 will call the number back. *57 will trace the number. After 3 traces you can call the phone company and report the traces and they will take care of the problem.
