I have some negatives from pictures that were taken in the 70's. How can I get reprints from them?

I went to Walgreens and they said they no longer offer this service. Please suggest any other companies that you know of that would do this type of service.

If you can't find an in-house lab in a pharmacy or a camera shop that will handle 126 negs, look for a retailer offering service through one of the the big labs such as Fuji, which I know will handle 126 film. As long as your negs are in good condition, you should be able to get nice prints. It might take several days for the negs to be shipped to the Fuji lab, be printed and shipped back to your retailer. I believe Qualex, which runs the labs advertised as Kodak, and the Berkey labs also will handle 126 negs.
You might need to be a little persistent in the stores to find out WHERE they send film because the clerk at the counter might not know. If not, ask to speak to the manager, who should know.
Good luck. Hope the prints turn out well.

Normally walmart or Walgreen's will reprint from negatives like these. Also like Wolf Pictures does printing and they are more professional.

What format?
If they are 35mm any local photolab should be able to print them. If it is a odd format, try Wal-Mart. When you write up the send-out envelope be sure to write the instructions,"Special Process" so it will be noticed. I have had everything from 126 to 6x7 printed at Wal-Mart this way. Inexpensive.
But do not trust them to develop odd formats. Too many scratches for my taste.

If you have the negatives it's actually pretty easy. Take them to any photo shop, they should be able to make a print from them. If they are brittle I would avoid Wally World and find someplace like Ritz that handles a more upscale photo crowd.

Any specialty photo shop which accepts photos for processing whould be able to do as you request.
If these are very odd size negatives (e.g 110) you could try scanning the negs and converting them to positives with you photo processing software

Check if the negatives have got fungus. If so you have to clean those. If they are in good condition, that is if the picture is not disfigured then you can print it.
Else scan the negatives, take it into photoshop and start cleaning it. You can use the clone tool.
then print

Take them to the place you normally develop film, and write in the 'special instructions' box "Develop all negatives." Simple.
