My brother has been using a playstation 1 memory card in my playstation 2 so he could save his games. When i was finally able to get him off so i could play my games, my playstation 2 wouldn't read any of the playstation 2 games i own. I tried every playstation 2 game in my house, but none would work. Then i tried every playstation 1 game in the house, and they all worked.Do you think that the memory card ruined the system? and if so how can i fix it?

Call Sony's 800 number. Explain to them what happened. They will tell you either how to fix the problem, or to ship it to them so THEY can fix it (shipping is about 10 bucks). A few weeks later, they send it back good as new. Now you have a good reason to 1) beat your brother senseless and 2) tell him he's not allowed to touch your PS2.

My first PS2 stopped examining discs and because it grew to become into nonetheless under the assure I have been given a loose substitute. Then that one began taking part in up after the assure ran out so I have been given a lens cleanser DVD and that worked for a at the same time as, then i presumed it grew to become into a number of my discs being scratched so i offered 2 new video games yet they nonetheless did no longer artwork so i eventually have been given a sparkling mini PS2 and all my video games worked alongside with the two previous scratched ones! in case you nonetheless have it assured telephone Sony, even if if it truly is no longer attempt a disc cleanser. If that fails you are able to pick a sparkling device or look ahead to the PS3 to come back out.

The laser lens in your PS2 is faulty, you'll probably need to replace it or get a new one. For a quick fix try putting it on its side. That worked for me sometimes.
