Consumer Electronics - 24 August 2006

I intend to get a new cellphone (supporting 3G function). Any recommendations? Or if you're using any phone that is serving you well care to recommend it to me? I am currently using Nokia N70 which has a lot of problems (I suspect that it is my N70 that is problematic, maybe I am just plain unlucky to get a "spoilt" phone), intend to sell it away in search for better phones. Please advise, I don't know which phone to get.

Would you stop using them...I don't know if this is true, but I think their is some kind of cover up on these companies abou the effects of cell phones on humans. I don't think it will cause death or anything, but it must affect brain activity in some way!! Anybody know the scoop!!

Here's my situation:

I want to put the music from my CDs onto my iPod...but I don't want to import the music onto my computer first. Is there a way to convert the music straight from CD's to my iPod?

If there's a free way...I'd prefer that.

I went through a bunch of crap trying to find a good ring tone on cingular.com and I sent the link to my phone....I found out that I can't download it because apparently my parents aren't paying for media net. well I have somebody who keeps calling me w/ prank calls etc... the usual teenage bs they like to have fun with. Except I'm getting sick of it and asking for a phone company to help. I was wondering if there is anything I can hook up to my phone line that would automatically trace the call back to its origin or something like that. Not caller Id but something that actually traces it. I remember seeing something my old friend had but i dont know where to get it. Thanks

I don't know much about electric. I installed a surge protecter outlet thinking that was it. It wasn't it still does it. Could it be that it is not grounded. The sound I can't explain except it is like uummm
