I would like a functional laptop with a cd burner and at least a 30 gb hardrive if this is possible please tell me

Its doable, if you buy used. Check the for sale ads of your local newapaper.

$200 will buy you a 10 year old compact or Dell with limited memory and a pentium 1 processor... and NO CD Burner... you're dreaming if you think you are going to get something decent for a lousy $200.

Well your not gonna get one for brand new. Dell doesnt price them that low yet, but you might wanna check out the refirbish section on Dells website for used laptops but they have been looked over and formatted and made good as new.

check with one of your local high schools, you can some times get a used lap top for around $50 bucks or so
