camera problems with my kodak easy share?

i have new batteries in the camerabut it will not work it won't turn on. any ideas ? i did go on their web sight it did not help

Check how you have the new batteries installed. It wouldn't be the first time someone put them in backwards!!!. Fortunately, most all battery units have a protect diode in them so it shouldn't hurt your camera. Just dump them out and start over, making sure you put them as the diagram shows.

I have a kodak and I love it - quality is great. The only thing that happens occasionally is that when I replace the battery in it, it won't turn on. If I eject the SD card and power it up without the card, then turn it off, put the card back in, and then turn it on again it is fine. I don't know why this is but it's only happened twice in two years!

Kodak cameras aren't very good, there could be so many things that are wrong with it. So you can't get any powerup with new batteries? Have you check to make sure it didn't get wet, or that the batteries are in the correct position? I'd call Kodak if you can't get it to work, maybe they know.

I even have the right comparable digicam that i offered used so i don't have this methodology or the cord I upload my photos by putting the SD disk without delay into my laptop it is going to automaticly open a application to do away with the p.c.. and vids from the disk if this does not take place bypass to my comp and open that disk

sometimes its on you just cant see pic you push the okay button and it will bring pic up ,also dont know why my battery compartment on mine the description to put batterys was wrong, maybe turn them oppsite of what it shows cant hurt or take it back mine is great always works and I get lots of compliments on my pic good luck
