Where can I find a place to fix ipods in my area, which is rhode island?

There is no carry-in service for iPod. Use the web site shown below to contact Apple and request service. They will send a pre-labled shopping box to you and you will ship the iPod to them. Last time I checked that would be to Elk Grove, CA. but with the meteoric rise in sales, there may be more than one service location.

haha there is nothing in rhode island, go to apple.com to check out their online tech support, or go to nearby big cities
