One of the best gifts I have ever received was the cheap guitar that my brothers bought for me when I was still a 15 year old boy. I learned to play that summer and this skill has given me, as well as many others, great pleasure ever since. And now my own children play musical instruments as well.
Of course my Mom did have to listen to me practice the same songs over and over and over and over again until I learned to play fairly well. I'm sure it was no less than pure torture for her. But I love her even more that she would endure that for my sake. So, thanks Mom!
