I am trying to find out if there is a replacement cord for my portable TV/DVD player that I can pick-up tommorrow on my way out of town. The hole where the DC cord goes into the back of the TV says DC 13 2V, I am assuming that means 2 Volts. But all of the universal adapters I am finding are either 1.5 or 3. Please advise.

I am considering purchasing the Canon SD 630. I am a consumer photographer that looks for image quality, portability, the panoramic scene mode, and overall build quality. I know the panoramic scene mode is really random, but I love it. Please make some suggestions and comments on the SD 630.

I have an brand new iPod Video, and the USB cord it connects with to the computer is version 2.0. My USB port only adapts to version 1.0, so when I connect it I end up with a pop-up that says it won't run as fast. Then when I go to iTunes, and try File >> Update iPod, it's greyed out so I can't do that.

Is there any way to update songs to my iPod in this condition? If there's software needed, how experienced do you have to be to install it?

Do the letters "W" and "T" stand for something in another language? I don't know much about digital cameras but my kids say these letters are always used for the zoom on their cameras.

I just got the above model today from Comet for 359.99 as it was reduced from 449.99, but since I got it at 3.30pm, and I was working at 5, I will have to take it out the box and set it up tomorrow. I read that it is an excellent system, does anyone out there have one? How good is it? According to What Hi-Fi? it is the best Home Theatre for under 500 quid, and it got 8th position for the top 10 Home theatre systems in Stuff magazine, both gave it 5 stars. If anyone wants a home Theatre system, looks like this is the one to get! looks amazing, too, though it is silver it won't go so well with my new black TV!

I want to make CD-R recordings of some out-of-print cassettes and vinyl records that I already own. This is not to violate copywrite as I don't go for that - this is simply for personal use. I have some brand new high-end PC's so, that end I got covered.

What software do I need?
Is it Freeware or commercially available?
How can I enhance the new sound files before creating the CD copies?
Which file format is best?
Should file compression be used?

Do I just plug the playback device directly into my sound card or is there more to it than that?

Or is it better to hire the work done by someone who knows what they are doing?

If you got links to reference websites, that would be great. Thanks.
