Verizon and Sprint have the most reliable network. And Verizon might be slightly best since it has the most coverage area in the nation. But in terms of quality and price, I highly recommend Sprint.
If you want the best plan - there is really no single best cell phone plan for everyone - it all depends on how you use your phone. Some people need more minutes than others. Sprint has cheapest plan for only $29.99 a month, but it only offers 200 anytime minutes. However, if 200 anytime minutes or less are all you need, it's simply the best plan you can get. In addition, this plan gives you free nights and weekends, and don't forget, night minutes start at 7 pm everyday, it's like getting 120 more anytime minutes everyday - no other companies offer a deal like this. And if you do go over 200 minutes for a month, don't worry, their Fair & Flexible plan Includes Anytime Minutes adjustable in 50-minute increments up to 500 minutes of overage at $5.00 each. So if you use 250 minutes, you only have to pay $34.99 for the month. See more plans and phones at http://www.bestincellphones.com/sprint.asp

My tmobile phone was the cheapest for the most minutes. The reception was much better in the city than my verizon, but in small towns the verizon is better. T mobile was 40 a month 46 with taxes for 600 minutes plus free nights and weekends. Verizon now is family plan, but about the same per individual.

T-Mobile and Sprint.
T-Mobile is for Dirt Cheap.
but
Spritn have great plans out there
for instance
unlimited after 6pm, while calls after 7 are part of most plans.
Option for unlimited incoming calls.
Overage is not 50 cents a minute on many plans; about 10 cents a minute.
A plan that automatically adjusts to give you the cheapest rate.
Plans as low as 30 and 60 for family plans.

My parents and family insist on AT&T (Cingular) which is OK except I want T-mobile because I'm a big texter and i want a full qwerty keyboard without getting a blackberry or a blackjack. AT&T is good for families because of the whole deals they give like buy one phone and get three more. Plus texting unlimited is pretty dang cheap. Oh but, waiting for an upgrade takes forever! 2 years after purchase of current phone. Rippp-offf! Thye have alot of phones that have cameras and some of them other stuff too, for instance my ad has the sync which has the built in stuff but he has 3 ipod nanos already! AND YOU CAN TEXT ON EVERY PHONE. EVERY PLAN and COMPANY has that. Just make sure it's enabled :) Btw, I live in Denver. Isnt that weird (IDK, im suger high rite now)

I have had Verizon for 5 years. The America's Choice plan is great especially with unlimited calls to other Verizon customers and free nights and weekends. Excellent service with no dropped calls.

I've had Nextel with not much problem but don't call them for anything.....be the worse mistake you can make.
Just dumped Sprint last week finally after almost 3 years of service. Worse service I have seen. Walk into a building and good luck ever making a call.
I moved over to Verizon. Had them about 6 years ago with good service so I went back to them. So far I am past delighted with service, antenna strength, phone, battery life, etc.
