i have a stereo, but i do not know how many watts it is. it says on the back that has 230 watts (rated power) now is that how many watts it takes to power it, or is that how many watts it puts out?

What was it about them that made them your favorite? Do you still have them, and if not, what did you replace them with?

My favorite was a pair of Merlin TSM-M minimonitors in an exquisite "ruby heart" (i.e. candy apple red) high-gloss finish atop a pair of Osiris speaker stands filled with sand. Clarity and imaging were absolutely breathtaking! They were driven by a Clayton Audio S40 pure class A solid state stereo power amp, Conrad-Johnson PV-10 tube preamp, and a Sony CDP-XA7ES CD player. I also used a pair of KR Audio (then KR Enterprise) VT-9000 hybrid tubed monoblocks. I replaced the TSM's with a pair of Silverline Sonatina floor speakers in a bird's eye maple. Also great sounding speakers. Very smooth and silky from top to bottom.

what is the diffrence between the two? my service provider for phone is verizon and im getting a new phone soon. can u guys tell me the difrrence between the two? thanks. if u guys have one of these phones then feedback would be nice= whether its a good or bad phone. thx.

Starting from scratch, what brand and model of components and accessories would you get if you had a budget of $10,000 USD to spend on a brand new (market priced) high-end stereo system?

The listening room size measures 10'W x 13'L x 8'H. Wall-to-wall carpet.

If it is a home theater system, it must have everything including the TV. The TV is only an option if the system is purely 2-channel stereo.

I live with my dad and I turn to him for advice every once in a while. I was going to buy a digital camera or a new phone. Not both because of budgeting. My dad thinks buying a new phone would be a waste b/c my phone works fine, and that disposible cameras are fine. I think opposite. Anyway come to find out he had a digital camera. Never used and about 4 yrs old by cannon. Hes given it to me. It works perfectly. Its just a bit heavy. I was thinking to buy a newer model by kodak anyway, for size reasons but a refurbished one, so I wouldnt pay full price. Would that be a waste? since this old one works fine? Its just really heavy. I figure I could buy the refurbished one, and I would have saved enough to buy the new phone also without breakin the bank.

No that my Nano is unfrozen, Itunes is not doing anything when I plug it into the USB port. It is acting like nothing is there. I don't think my USB port is damaged either

I like technology, and would like a multi-functional phone but I am heavily influenced by price.
