I'm looking to convert some .wmv files to the .mpeg format. Need something thats free, and ideally some software that isn't a limited trial, or software that leaves a watermark on the output file. Thanks in advance

I need the advanced features such as resampling, color correction, hue & saturation adjustments, stretch/skew, etc.

Any freeware out there that works well? This would be for a Windows operating system.

This error occurs while only with the game Call Of Duty.You should install the latest drivers for your video card, being sure to uninstall the old drivers first. If you already have the latest drivers, you should completely uninstall the drivers and then reinstall them. This fixes most problems. If the game still doesn't work, it may be that your video card does not have the minimum features required. I have to make a powerpoint on Hotel Bellevue. I have an Apple computer and I have no idea what I am doing on this computer so please help! I want to put a picture of the Hotel as a background on my first slide. First of all, my sister has to do it too. When she was putting up her background some how she clicked a button and made it look not stretched or blurry. How did she do that? And another question is How do I make it as a background in the first place? I tried to make it as a background but then it kept covering up all of the words. I can't find the button where it is supposed to say "Behind text". I also want to know how to make all of the sounds and make it all move (I told you I am completely clueless!) Like I have pictures and words so how do i make them zoom in or something and then put a sound to it? Alright. Thanks! And remember I have an Apple computer. Ok! Hi, I was wondering why don't people who are not pc gamers stop using Windows and switch to Unix systems like Linux and Mac OS X. What does Windows offer that Linux and OS X don't. My desktop picture is white. When i right click on the desktop and go to properties, then desktop, i can change the color, i can stretch, tile or center; but it changes nothing. When i go to change the picture it doesn nothing, i can't scroll, i can't highlight, nothing............. any ideas, please help. I can't remember what version of Windows i have....its the most upto date but not Vista.

I had this program on my computer, and I can't remember the name of it. It cleaned your computer of old files and other things. The only thing I remember about that it was free, and it sounded like a toilet flushing when it cleaned your computer. Sorry I don't remember any more.

I just got a new computer with the disillusion that having the new Windows Vista OS on it would be an advantage. So far it's been nothing but a pain in the ****:

All of the specialist programs I've needed for uni won't run on it so I have to use my friend's XP laptop every time I wanna do some work.

It's full of baffling security features which deny me permission to organise the folders on my own computer!

It's extremely unstable and badly organised.

None of the codecs I need to play media files came installed...

I could easily go on but have run out of space

I know this isn't just a problem with my version because I've heard the same complaints from other people.

Why have Microsoft come up with such a steaming heap of crap for a product, they're supposed to be the world's premiere PC company, I'd get my work done quicker etching it into a cowpat with a stick. I hate them.

Next time I'm getting a mac

I had to reinstall XP on my computer because it basically got fried somehow. I have an xp disc to reinstall, but there's no disc case to give me the product key.
Is there a way to put that disc onto another (working) computer and find it's 25 digit product key?
