I have to make a powerpoint on Hotel Bellevue. I have an Apple computer and I have no idea what I am doing on this computer so please help! I want to put a picture of the Hotel as a background on my first slide. First of all, my sister has to do it too. When she was putting up her background some how she clicked a button and made it look not stretched or blurry. How did she do that? And another question is How do I make it as a background in the first place? I tried to make it as a background but then it kept covering up all of the words. I can't find the button where it is supposed to say "Behind text". I also want to know how to make all of the sounds and make it all move (I told you I am completely clueless!) Like I have pictures and words so how do i make them zoom in or something and then put a sound to it? Alright. Thanks! And remember I have an Apple computer. Ok! Thankyou so much and please don't make fun of me! And please answer quick!

Hi,

When Microsoft ported PowerPoint from Apple Macintosh to Windows they kept the same procedures mostly the same for dealing with pictures, so advice for PowerPoint Mac and Windows is pretty much the same for Windows users.

Every object in your presentation is on a layer. So you can insert a picture and right-click (control-click) on it and from the pop-up menu choose Arrange > Send to Back.

If you take the Format Background approach then the picture will be at the very back and will be stretched to fit the window. My suggestion avoids the stretching.

Don't be afraid to use PowerPoint's help feature. It's quite complete.
