Software - May 2007

I put the disk in, went into recovery mode, pressed 1 for windows then typed password

Then I tried to Type expand d:\i386\ntoskrnl.ex_ c:\windows\system32

but did not work

the message below that was

The system cannot find the file or directory specified

Could someone help me figure out how to solve this problem.

I have 2 computers and 2 copies of Microsoft Office Professional 2003. One of my computers comepletely crashed and the hard drive is shot. I want to reinstall Office but can't figure out which copy is on which computer. I have the product keys and original disks for both programs. I can get the product ID from Office on the computer that works. I want to figure out which copy of office is on my computer that works and reinstall the other copy on my new computer that replaces the one with the non-working hard drive. Can anybody help? Thanks!

ok, ive asked this before and still dont understand, some say that oem software doesn't come with the windows cd rom
and retail comes with the cd rom, which makes sense
but then others are saying the opposite, can some1 explain it please

Okay, so I used to use Microsoft Office Word but the trial on my new computer expired so now I have Microsoft Works Word. I can't edit the documents I made using Microsoft Office so I want to transfer them to Microsoft Works. I want to know how to do that. windows told me i am missing a codec named Intel/Ligos Indeo Interactive 5.0 (IV50) and i am running windows vista, i cant seem to find anything this is driving me crazy! i also tried vista codec pack and k lite and they dont work. what can i do? please help.
