I am searching for a software which can be programmed to display pop ups coming out of task bar or tray, containing reminder text at intervals pre-defined by user. The reminder text can also be defined by user. Can someone tell me the url to download such software?

I like very simple software, and about a year ago i found one that does about what you say and about ONLY what you say (where google toolbar that the others have mentioned does lots more and uses lots of resources)

The software I found is called Rainlendar, its free, very customizable (there are hundreds of skins for it), very small on screen and small resource usage... its essentially a calender that you create events on, it doesn't offer many other features than that, but organizes all the information very well

Resources referring to computer resources, that is mostly memory, and objects, which if you try to use too many, programs will fail to start or run extremely slow

Windows XP Scheduled Tasks is good for this. No need to install new software.

In scheduled tasks, Select a particular file or notepad, and time. The particular notepad will open on time. Even you can open a software too on particular time.
