I write poems, and I want to add pictures to them, but sometimes I need to edit these pics, or create them myself. I am looking for a freeware graphics editor to download. Any suggestions on one would be so appreciated.

If you're using Windows, you could try something like Paint.NET (http://www.getpaint.net/index2.html) or GIMP for Windows (http://www.gimp.org/windows/) and if you're on UNIX or related operating systems, you could try the original GIMP (http://www.gimp.org/unix/). While GIMP also has a MacOS build, I'm not very conversant with that OS and will refrain from making any suggestions.
