dont wanna buy the game and then it doesnt run smoothly
that'll be a waste of 50$ =\

Need some help here!
I have an HP Pavilion and apparently HP and VONGO [a movie downloading service] made an agreement that Vongo would come pre-installed on these laptops.
I appreciate HP taking the time out of their busy schedules to pre-think out what I want on my computer, but unfortunatley, I don't WANT Vongo. Im sorry.
Ive tried disabling isuspm from the startup menu in msconfig and tried Add/Remove Programs, but all to no avail.
Anyone have any more ideas? They would be profoundly appreciated!

WMI (Windows Management Instrument) Is corrupted, any software or other than can fix this? Evertime I connect to the internet the properties of the connection don't show up, and when I click advanced settings on the connection settings it says that WMI is corrupted, and I don't have a restore point that'll fix it, any help?

First off, I know a lot about computer so don't be afraid to get technical. Is there somewhere in the BIOS settings, setup menu from the boot log, etc. Please let me know if there is anyway to configure it and are there any programs to make sure I do not tamper with.

i downloaded the yahoo toolbar and i used the anti spy to delete and remove the spyware. it was sucessful, but then Windows keeps on saying theres STIILL infection on my computer. any idea WHYYYYY?? IT'S DRving meh crazzy cuz i cant remove thiese things.

I just got my first Mac computer and I have no idea how to write a document on it. Can't seem to find any trace of word processing software. Found something called Mac Word test version but it's a trial and it's not a full size window. It also won't let me print the document I typed. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

ive looked these proceses up and it turns out that they are by the microsoft corporation, but they are also registered as trojans.
ive done tests with: avg, spybot, add protect, adware se, and have cleaned the system with ccleaner. they picked up some viruses and stuff but the problem is still there.
the problem is that after i connect to the internet (broadband) the hour glass is always there and the cpu usage is at 100 %.
after about 30 mins of connection the comp comes to a complete halt coz it cant take the crap.
i cant reinstall my OS coz i dont have the cd.
im on windows xp
the scans didnt pick up any trojans.
and there 5 SVCHOST.EXE running at the same time and one of them takes most of usage
please answer quick coz my comp is gonna freeze

I'm trying to download some software off the CD for a webcam, but the rom does not work.
I heard that once you buy a CD or DVD, you can go online and download software from there, as long as you have the password off the box. Is that true?

how do i stop them, and keep them from returning. I have waited forever on the phone to gateway and nobody gets back to me. I have a emachine windows xp.intel r. it is new, and i get a notice that i have too many programs running. what is safe to close.I have at least 50 programs on it at the same time.

I have WindowsXP Professional operating system in my computer. When I am trying to open My computer/My Picture/Control panel from START menu it is showing DAX Error, massage is access violation at address 0291df63. Write of address 0291df63. But when I click the OK botton My Computer dialog box is opening.
How can I over come from this problem?

I am building a complex website with chat room, 3D interactive and games. The specs are too long to be presented here. I thought it was made by adobe, but after looking at the website I can't find it. You could change the screen background to different seasons, different colors, and it was really easy to work with. If anyone knows what this program was, PLEASE let me know. It was on my old computer, and I can't remember the name.
