Ok when i begin a document and i write something and press enter to go to the next line, it skips a line so its not underneth each other, can someone tell me how to fix this? it skips a space.

I accidently deleted the driver. I need help with getting it back. Also, I am getting blocked from some web sites because the page is being blocked because of ActiveX control. I need help fixing this. Will appreciate your answers.

I have a MS Word document containing 8 pages. I want to check the spelling and grammar but quite surprisingly, the Spelling and Grammer is working for the 1 page only and when I come to the page 2, it shows that the spell check is complete whereas there are errors in other pages.

Quite surprisingly, this function is working in all pages of other files. Please suggest.

Okay, so I just got high speed, YAY, and now finally I'ma go get an iPod.. and a iTunes giftcard for their music store.. but will I get viruses? I have no anti virus or anything.. but does iTunes contain viruses and spyware like Limewire does? Is it a P2P program?

So I have my hard drive partitioned into two parts. C: and D:. Drive D is used for saving all my files and data, and C is strictly for programs. I recently reformatted C and installed Windows XP again. While installing, setup recommended fixing registry issues on D that it found. I thought it would be a good idea. When I finally got the computer up and running, half of the files on D will not open. If they are pictures they appear empty. The music will not play. The word documents appear scrambled. They still have their original size in kilobyes or megabytes but don't appear to contain any necessary information. I am hoping somehow I can restore the files. Thanks for any help.

I heard a rumor that if I create a restore point before installing trial software (Photoshop, Office 2007 Trial, etc), I can just go back to the restore point and reinstall the trial software when the trial expires and to continue using the software. Is this true?

I downloaded the free trail for Adobe Photoshop and i love it so much. I was wondering when my 30 days was over, is there a way i could keep it without paying? Is there a window that will pop up and i could cancel it? Will it charge me anyway after the 30 days?

When I click on JPG file, Windows automatically starts Adobe Photoshop to view the picture. It takes forever to load. I want to change it to some other program that loads faster. Two questions:

1. How do I change the program association for JPG and other picture files in Windows?

2. Any recomendations for an image viewing program that loads fast?

I brought a Philips computer less than a year ago from PC world....... and few months later I got a virus.....I took the computer to a normal internet cafe where they fix computers. What the guy did was that he removed my windows XP media edition and installed windows 2003 he also deleted the original settings... and don’t went that because that’s not what I paid for…now I contacted Philips and they are refusing to give me a windows XP media edition recovery disk!! Is their anywhere I can get my computer to the original settings? Or a copy of the WINDOWS XP MEDIA EDITON RECOVERY DISK? Or a TV card?

I am considering upgrading my operating system to Windows Vista. I am concerned with potential problems with some key programs and hardware. Specifically Adobe Photoshop CS2, Photoshop Elements 3.0, Pixel Ninja, Nortons SystemWorks 2006, and Call of Duty 2. As far as hardware is concerned my only real worries are with the Cannon i9900 wide carriage printer, and Spyder2 Pro colorimeter. I also have an HP 3320 printer that I use for basic utility printing. It is an inexpensive printer, so if it needs to be replaced it isn't a big deal. As far as internal hardware in the computer itself; I have no real concerns as it is quite new and up to date. If you can help with any of my concerns, it would be greatly appreciated.

Please help, My laptop has stopped working and whenever I turn it on it says that a following file is missing or corrupt-- \windows\system32\config\system. It also says that to fix the problem I should start Windows Setup using the original cd-rom. The problem is that it didn't come with any Cds. It is a relativley new compaq presario c300. If it helps, it has a system restore feature, but I do not know how to get to it without the Operational System booting up. F10 only opens the BIOS screen.

My main priority right now would be getting the files from it.
