I have WindowsXP Professional operating system in my computer. When I am trying to open My computer/My Picture/Control panel from START menu it is showing DAX Error, massage is access violation at address 0291df63. Write of address 0291df63. But when I click the OK botton My Computer dialog box is opening.
How can I over come from this problem?

This might be due to some internal software system error. Do one thing to overcome this problem, go to command prompt (Start Menu-All Programes-Accessories-Command Promopt) there you type "Chkdsk" and Then enter........it will soleve all type of softwares erros.
If this does not solve problm then see second solution....
Goto my computer and right click on the drive letter where your windows has been installed (C:\ drive, in most cases), go to properties, you will see "Tools" tab there, click it, then run Scandisk option. These might solve your problem.

ok bro. try to restore ur computer to an earlier date before hving this problem. to restore ur pc go to
Start Menu - All Programs - Accessories - System Tools - System Tools......
Alternativly u can go to start menu properties and select Start menu - Customize - Advance and just the property of my computer to a Display as a Menu.....
still hv prob den u must restore ur computer , BUT REMEMBER WEN U RESTORE UR PC U LOST ALL UR CURRENT SOFTWARES N DATA SO PLZ BE SURE TO MAKE ALL IMPORTANT BACK UPs

i think of the above human beings have been napping on an identical time as giving the solutions bypass to my pc, top click on a rigidity, elect discover. on the left fringe of show screen elect each and all the data/folders in the rigidity and cut back paste them to a various folder. now close the left part pane, top click on the empty rigidity, elect format, click on start up. after format completes u can truthfully get entry to to the rigidity. yet remeber formatting a rigidity will erase its contents. to steer away from this i've got instructed u to cut back paste data/folders to a various folder

Try this: Go to a command prompt and type :
sfc /scannow.
If you have a corrupted system file, this should fix it.
