I'm guessing a service is not responding and windows waits for it to stop.. Enter task manager and see which process remains active.

It is an important component to run Windows. Try, before shutting down, to right click on the taskbar @ the bottom, and go to Task Manager, click on the Processes tab, and try to find it and click End Process. Ok that is all u can do.!

run very far away "its a virus"
naw jus messing with ya

okay try starting your computer in safe mode by taping F8 at the beginning of starting your computer.

and delete all EXTRA firewalls (only have one otherwise they tend to fight)

if the problem still persists then just ignore it (imean you just click okay and then it shuts down right ?)

read about it at this website

not sure if that scan is safe tho (it might be because it says "trusted by yahoo" or sumthing)
